- A ferry you cannot find is usually in port: berthed ships overlap on the map, so zoom in on Dover or Calais to separate them.
- Positions come from each ship’s AIS transponder and can run a few minutes behind.
- The crossing takes around 90 minutes, so at busy times you will see several ferries mid-Channel at once.
- Oscar Wilde is a familiar sight under a new name: she previously sailed this route for P&O as Spirit of Britain.
